Relationship Psychotherapy

I use the term relationship psychotherapy because I don’t want to privilege one kind of bond over another. Romantic partnerships are often the focus of traditional “couples counselling,” but life is richer than that. Siblings, adult parent–child relationships, friendships, co-parenting, blended families, soul-friends, chosen families — these all shape who we are.

If a relationship is important to you, it deserves space, respect and depth.

Working Together

Because every relationship has its own rhythm, we use the first meeting to get a sense of what’s happening between you, what you each hope for, and what pace feels right. You don’t need to arrive in perfect agreement — many people begin at different levels of readiness.

If one of you feels unsure about starting together, I offer a free 20-minute orientation call with the primary enquirer. This helps us work out whether joint sessions are the right step, or whether we need a different structure at the start. After that, the first therapeutic session is with both of you.

Sessions and Fees

£100 per 50-minute session (online only).

How We Begin

Once you get in touch, I’ll offer the orientation call (if needed), or we can book your first joint session straight away if you’re both ready. From there, we take it one session at a time — steady, transparent and at a pace that feels manageable.

Relationship psychotherapy isn’t about winning arguments or proving points; it’s about creating enough space, safety and clarity for two people to genuinely understand each other. Whatever your relationship looks like, the work is about helping it feel more honest, respectful and liveable for both of you.
